Wtf, that is the dumbest thing ever. No headphone jack on a phone that calls itself "Essential"…

No headphone jack = no buy.
The 3.5mm headphone jack is something a lot of people would consider "essential".

The look of the device is quite nice, but no waterproofing and especially no headphone jack is a dealbreaker for me. I'm much happier with my S8+.

Too heavy and LCD eats battery life. If I want straight up Android I'm sticking to my Pixel

This is what modern smartphones will look like. Small bezels, egde to edge, wide resolution display, wireless connections,….
For someone that said the Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi Mix set the trend, say again and google "Sharp Aquos Crystal".

modular accessories are garbage. without specific phones they are useless and the quality is not amazing.

Bad timing for this phone to come out plus no AMOLED screen shit even LG is dropping the V30 with one this phone is way overprice ! The Samsung Galaxy s8 and s8+ are $150 to $300 dollar off on Samsung website plus the S8 Screen is more Beautiful Better and is water resistant I don't understand this company strategy this is a stupid move!

Data and power do not get connected through the pins like they do on the Motorola. It make the modules to add on more flexible in purpose, if not shape.

A Camera Phone will always be a Camera Phone
    Gimmicks won't change that
