I waited so long for this and got so tired of waiting, I unsubscribed from their emails. Coming out with too little too late – way late.

Equivalent gadget "Alexa" costs $49, so your paying $850 for the stupid and pointless movements it does. It's 100% crap, bet investors are regretting it now.

While cute, this thing needs to be at least as functional as the ubiquitous home assistants…my google home is useful…and has some personality…this guy seems like it was rushed through development and didn’t have enough app developers or support to be competitive…maybe in a generation it will be worth it at this price point, but not quite yet…🤔

Very disappointed by the outcome of the Jibo final product so far from what I see. I remember a couple years back how animated the display was and how smooth the envisioned AI was. This robot to me is just expensive junk, nothing really like the crowd funded videos envisioned at the start. Hopefully a better company buys the IP and creates something better connected in the future if the current company cannot.

An OLED screen would make the display really look really seamless. The next version will be really great if the company stays around. It would be cool to have a device that looks and acts like a sphereo and smart assistant in a bowl or sphere and getting it’s energy from induction so it looks like it’s wireless. A roaming ball would be great but we all know how that would end, it would fall off some surface, get stepped on, or crushed. The bowl/spherical enclosure would be a cute area to house it. It could have a tiny speaker that whispers to you and the bowl enclosure housing could have a much larger speaker as the base.
