Unbiased journalism like this is what will kill old media. Thank you, CNET.

This is why you don't let freaking nerds out of their basements. They don't know how to converse with other humans. I mean look at the guy. He's on tv and looks like he just woke up and is still wearing whatever he was wearing for the last few days and he's got on those damn earphones. And by the way,to work at a place like google,it doesn't matter if you're blue, red, orange, man, woman and so on,a nerd is a nerd,PERIOD. If google or a corporation that humongous hires you,the chances of you knowing what you're doing are extremely high.

Now it is punished to say that Women and men are different; Here a couple of facts and I am prepare to receive the punishment.
-In average Men are taller than Women
-In average Men have more muscular mass than women
-In average Men have more Testosterone
-Most women go every 28 days through a menstrual cycle which is governed by hormonal changes
    -Women can have babies
    -Men have testicles
-Most men with high level of testosterone can be more aggressive
-Most Men can behave like pigs
    -Most women are awesome
    -etc.

We need to understand that every sex, race and human being is different and has there own tendencies and needs. We need to encourage diversity in a natural and intelligent way. Forcing diversity is damaging to all parties. We need to understand those differences and restructure the task needed to perform those Jobs. I cannot wait for people to start demanding diversity in the NBA, that would be stupid; the best person should get the Job regardless of sex, race and age. We need to fight for EQUAL opportunity , and condemn forced diversity(which is kind of sexism and racism in itself).

All he is guilty of is to mention that men and women have differences and perhaps if we want more women to work as engineers we shouldn't force them in; but to understand those differences and to rethink and restructure those positions(jobs), thus making them more friendly and attractive to women. Read the whole MEMO

Thank you for not adding political bias to this report CNET. Good coverage. This man is a hero and Google is an evil company. The best part is the SJW women who were so offended by this decided to skip work the next day, completely proving his point. I bet they wont get fired though, because the Marxist mafia runs Google now so they wouldn't dare.

don't think he's a douche, think he has legitimate arguments, but he's also pretty oblivious. he should know how easily misrepresented they are and also that he was directly challenging google policy, even if it made sense. also he should stay away from alt-lite / annoying conservative youtubers like stefan molyneux

People are so dumb. He had good points, but was a moron for tainting those points with some sad-sack, self-entitled, contradictory, and damaging nonsense.

Did it bother you to have your superiors force you to take one word out of context and pretend he said something heinous, Bridget? I have to assume so. You've always come across as having integrity. This couldn't possibly have sat well with you.

His problem was that it took the company too long to work out there was something wrong with his memo. What was he thinking in the first place? If he didn't like the company's employment policies, why did he work there for 3 years?

He made a good point when he said upper management didn't care until it went viral. Just goes to show that these companies aren't as progressive and liberal as they seem, only when the public tries to force them to be. After reading over his memo a little bit more he doesn't actually say any of the things he's really being accused of. It seems like someone got triggered because they interpreted the memo that way and Sundar was forced to fire him. Shame on Google, and shame on anyone who read a headline and concluded this guy is evil.

Neuroticism is the literal technical term used in psychology. You imply that he is using that as an insult. Other than that, this is pretty unbiased reporting.

Yeah. This guy is just a nerd who noticed patterns in data (as a nerd at Google would). There are differences in men and women and that's all he pointed out. He never said women shouldn't be in STEM, in fact, one of his closing remarks where to treat people as individuals and not as members of various groups.
