Shouldn't this channel be reviewing tech instead of reaching for flaws in video game stories?

So true and I feel you. You should wolfenstein series. Gameplay not the best but at least it's bombastic and over the top. I agree wholeheartedly with you

These are opinions coming from a casual, the facts however is that the games he mentioned have some of the greatest stories in gaming history. Facts win over opinions.

He just complained about some of the greatest stories in gaming of all time, what a filthy casual.

Why wait, I can let you know now how bad your list is. It is superficial and simply just to evoke a response. Have you actually played or pay attention of the way through in most of this games, or are you just basing it on devil may cry? That is in fact junk

Y'all hating, but I think he had good points. It's a bit of a different video for CNET and at least they're expanding (hello, WatchMojo).

A video this shallow, with a title like that only means one thing: you're looking for views, not relevant discussion.
Yeah, I don't understand why a site like Cnet suddenly does a video like this. There's only 2 games I've played out of your list, and I don't agree with your assessment in either. In Mass Effect's case especially – you have to consider a game and its story within the game's mechanics. It makes no sense otherwise. You're not going to expect a story as deep as that of an RPG, in a rail shooter, for example – which means you adapt your expectations over the way a story is developed to the mechanics involved. You have to do the same for Mass Effect.
Also, there are many games out there with huge plot holes, or incoherent stories – it would have made more sense to discuss those, and it would have made more sense to do a video like this while discussing with other people. But you don't have all that many other available people for this because you're not a gaming website. 😐

DMC was a failure. Why in the hell did Capcom give NinjaTheory a game to rewrite? Just stupid. Mass Effect 2 answering so many questions was annoying as hell. The other 2 games I saw trailers of and didn't interest me at all.

Good for you acknowledging the distinction between fantastic games, fantastic games with great story, and fantastic story with horrible game (which isn’t the point of a game)

Horizon Zero Dawn has one of the best stories in years. I was engrossed in it from the very beginning.
